Two or more objects can be grouped together. Two methods to group objects are Shift+Click and Rectangle Select.
Shift+Click: Using the SHIFF key to select multiply objects
Objects can be grouped by doing the following:
- Hold down the SHIFF key and then click on the first shape.
- While continuing to hold down the SHIFF key, click on additional objects in the view.
- In the Options panel click on the group objects selection. Or 2. Navigate to the Edit in the menubar and click on the menu item title “Group” Edit->Group (Command-G)
You have know created a group of objects.
Rectangle Select: Using a Rectangle to select multiply objects
Objects can also be grouped by dragging a rectangle around them.
- Click and drag, a rectangle, in the view, in a location that does not contain any objects.
- Drag the rectangle around several objects and then release the mouse button.
- In the Options panel click on the group objects selection. Or 2. Navigate to the Edit in the menubar and click on the menu item title “Group” Edit->Group (Command-G)
